How to Give Dog Treats the Right Way

How to Give Dog Treats the Right Way

Hello, friends — Boris here! 🐾

I’m Boris, the official taste-tester at Royal Rations.
Every day, I have the very important job of testing our favorite treats — made from 100% real, freeze-dried meat. That means they keep all the natural taste and nutrition of fresh meat, but with almost no moisture inside. Pure flavor, pure love!

And today, I’m here to tell you all the best ways to enjoy them.

1. As a topping for your regular meal

My humans sometimes sprinkle a few Royal Rations cubes on top of my regular food — no more than 30% of my daily portion. It makes my dinner smell amazing and turns every meal into a royal treat!

💧 Don’t forget the water!
Since our treats are made from freeze-dried meat and contain almost no moisture, always make sure your dog has a bowl of fresh water nearby.

Daily guide:

Small dogs — 10–30 g
Medium dogs — 30–60 g
Large dogs — 70–130 g

(Though if you ask me, a few extra pieces never hurt... but don’t tell my vet!)

2. Soaked in water or broth

If your pup is unsure at first, or just prefers something softer — try soaking the treats in warm water or broth. As they rehydrate, the rich aroma of real meat fills the air, and trust me, no dog can resist that smell!

This trick also works great if your dog has sensitive teeth. Once soaked, the treats become tender, juicy, and oh-so-satisfying.

3. For training and rewarding

Royal Rations treats are easy to break into smaller pieces — perfect for training or rewarding good behavior.
They don’t crumble, don’t make your hands greasy, and are ideal for daily walks or obedience sessions.

Every time I hear “Good boy!” and get a piece of my favorite treat, I know I’m doing something right — and that makes me wag even harder.
